Purpose of the Position
The Admin Assistant will support the day-to-day administrative requirements of the CIT Sasolburg branch. The position involves maintaining accurate records, handling correspondence and enquiries, supporting recruitment processes, processing operational information and ensuring that administrative deadlines are met.
The role requires someone who is organised, reliable, detail-oriented and comfortable handling confidential information.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of administration experience.
Previous experience in Administration or Office Management is advantageous.
Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A clear criminal record.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Strong attention to detail.
Good time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Willingness to work overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate may be responsible for:
General Administration
Maintaining an effective filing system.
Managing documents and records, including archiving.
Answering telephone calls and taking messages.
Handling internal and external enquiries.
Preparing and managing administrative documents.
Taking meeting minutes.
Providing general administrative assistance to the Branch Manager.
Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly administrative deadlines are met.
Recruitment and Onboarding Support
Assisting the recruitment department with new employee onboarding.
Preparing documentation for new hires.
Coordinating orientation agendas.
Contacting candidates during the recruitment process.
Following up with candidates and assisting with recruitment-related administration.
Operational and Billing Administration
Processing daily dedicated vehicle information.
Processing monthly hours and kilometres for billing purposes.
Printing and processing monthly client code lists and details.
Ensuring operational information is accurately captured and maintained.
Stock and Branch Support
Assisting with the distribution of branch consumables and stock.
Ordering uniforms, beverages, cleaning products, stationery and ID cards.
Supporting general branch administration and operational requirements.
Access Control Administration
Handling requests through the Fidelity Access Control System.
Processing authorisation and enrolment requests.
Assisting with scanning and related access-control administration.
