What You Will Do
As a Stockroom Associate, your responsibilities will include:
Stock Management
Manage the receiving and dispatching of stock.
Process incoming and outgoing stock within specified timeframes.
Ensure efficient movement and rotation of stock.
Transfer merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor as required.
Monitor stock movements and identify potential stock issues.
Provide accurate feedback to management regarding stock discrepancies and movements.
Help minimise stock shrinkage in line with company standards.
Customer and Sales Support
Support the store in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Ensure merchandise is available on the sales floor when needed.
Contribute towards achieving store sales targets.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations.
Stockroom Standards
Keep the stockroom neat, organised and accessible.
Maintain world-class housekeeping standards.
Follow company policies, procedures and stock-control processes.
Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have:
Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
Retail experience – essential.
2 years’ stockroom experience – advantageous.
Hospitality background – advantageous.
Additional qualifications are not specified as mandatory for this position.

Working Hours
