Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and experienced driver with a valid code 10 license and PDP to join our team. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods to their destinations adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a vehicle with gross vehicle weight of up to 3,500kg (code 10) in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods from one location to another, ensuring timely delivery and pick up. Load and unload cargo safely and securely, following proper procedures to prevent damage.
– Provide exceptional customer service in handling any enquiries or concerns.
– Keep accurate records of deliveries including logs of distance traveled, fuel consumption and any other incidents that may occur.
– Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Valid Code 10/14 driver’s license with a valid PDP (Public Driving Permit).
– Proven experience as a driver in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or transportation environment.
– Clean criminal record with no major violations.
– High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 35kgs).
– Comfortable sitting for an extended period.
– Good vision and hearing to ensure safe driving.
