Requirements
Applicants must have a Grade 10 qualification together with 7–12 months of relevant experience and a valid driver’s licence.
Applicants should possess knowledge of:
- Vehicle operating procedures
- Proper utilisation of government motor vehicles
- Vehicle maintenance procedures
- Routes and locations within relevant cities and towns
- Messenger duties and routine office support services such as registry work and photocopying
Required skills include:
- Communication skills
- Good interpersonal relations
- Planning and organising
- Time management
Duties
- Provide driving services for the department
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the allocated vehicle
- Deliver messenger and clerical support services
- Assist with auxiliary support functions
