Minimum Requirements
You must meet one of the following:
Option 1 (Matric)
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science, and English
- Minimum 40% in each of the above subjects
Option 2
- N2 Certificate or higher with relevant trade subjects (Welder’s Theory, Plating & Structural Steelwork, etc.)
Option 3
- NCV Level 4 in a relevant trade with all subjects passed at minimum 40%
Additional Requirements:
- South African citizen (unemployed youth preferred)
- Medically fit for a mining environment (pre-employment medical will be required)
- Preference given to applicants from host communities (proof of residence required – stamped by tribal authority or municipality)
