🚚 Supply Chain Delivery Operations Job – SAB

South African Breweries (SAB), part of Anheuser-Busch InBev, is looking for a skilled professional to support delivery productivity, quality management, and customer service within the supply chain logistics environment.

This role focuses on improving service levels, managing delivery performance, and ensuring operational excellence in the distribution process.

🎯 Key Purpose of the Role

• Ensure consistent service levels in the delivery process

• Drive Point of Consumption (POC) execution

• Support competitive distribution strategies

• Improve profitability through efficient delivery modes

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🚛 Delivery Productivity Management

• Coach delivery teams on MBFU, refusals and OODD issues

• Monitor delivery modes and identify cost-effective alternatives

• Verify Master Data accuracy

• Conduct Owner Driver verification in trade

• Maintain market visits at least 4 days per week

🧪 Quality Management

• Ensure compliance with Route Delivery Execution processes

• Manage customer complaints and track KPIs

• Train drivers to identify and handle quality issues

• Monitor consumer complaint processes and action plans

📦 Capacity & Refusal Management

• Work with 2DCP teams to optimise delivery capacity

• Track refusals and develop action plans

• Implement and monitor return policies

🤝 Service & Performance Systems

• Establish performance routines with Customer Experience teams (CXC)

• Encourage cross-functional collaboration and learning

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• 3-year Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics

• Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG customer service or logistics

• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• SAP experience (advantageous)
