Paid Internship Opportunity for Unemployed Graduates
The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for participation in a one-year Graduate Development / Internship Programme commencing in April 2026.
This programme is designed to provide graduates with practical work exposure, structured training, mentoring, and learning opportunities aligned with organisational and national skills priorities.
✅ PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME
To equip unemployed youth with meaningful workplace exposure through a structured development programme that enhances employability, professional competence, and career readiness.
Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience while being supported through mentorship and continuous learning.
💰 STIPEND
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R8,000 for the full duration of the programme.
🎯 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:

Be South African citizens
-
Be between 18 – 35 years old
-
Have completed a relevant qualification (Degree / Diploma)

Have a minimum 80% academic average for the completed qualification
-
Have no formal work experience related to the field of study
-
Be currently unemployed

Participants will:
