📌 JOB PURPOSE

To provide structured, work-based learning that equips participants with commercial acumen and practical skills to service customers, grow volume, facilitate the order-taking process, and implement, execute, and monitor merchandising standards for direct and indirect customers within a designated geographical area.

The role reports to the Account Developer.

🤝 KEY INTERACTIONS

• Sales Team Members – collaboration and daily task execution

  Job listings

• Sales Account Developer – training, guidance, performance feedback, and safety protocols

• Consumers – understanding preferences and behaviours to inform sales strategies

🛒 KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In-Store Execution & Merchandising Excellence

• Execute daily call schedules across assigned bronze and tin outlets

• Implement visual merchandising standards, stock rotation, and in-store displays

• Ensure product quality, availability, and visibility in line with RED and execution scorecard standards

• Complete iRED survey

• Support customers with placing orders via the MyCCBA platform

• Assist with promotional activities to increase brand visibility

• Provide relief support when require

✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40% pass)

• Grade 12 with English and a second language (minimum 40% pass)

• South African Citizen

• Aged between 18 and 35 years

• Must be unemployed at time of appointment

• Employment Equity candidate

• Available to work six (6) days per week

• No criminal or adverse credit record

• Must consent to criminal, ID, and qualification verification

• Driver’s Licence will be advantageous

• Not currently enrolled in any learnership or full-time studies

• Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership

• Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing (advantageous)

🎓 LEARNERSHIP INFORMATION

• Qualification requires a minimum of 120 credits

• Duration: 12 months
