REF NO: CCTVET 11/08/2025 SALARY: R325 101 per annum (Level 07) CENTRE: Central Office 19 REQUIREMENTS: M+ 3 years Degree or Diploma in National Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/Public Management or equivalent qualification. 2-3 years of experience in asset/ supply chain management/logistics services / public management, or relevant experience. Knowledge of the BAS/LOGIS system. Knowledge of the asset disposal procedure. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Services.
Knowledge of Asset Management. Knowledge of Supply Chain Policies. Knowledge of the Department of Higher Education mandate. Computer literacy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver’s license. DUTIES: Monitor and review the capturing of all physical (movable and immovable) assets in the physical asset management registers (Hard Cat, IT and Furniture register).
Monitor and review the allocation of assets to asset holders. Review the monitoring of assets in accordance with the relevant policy and procedures. Promote the correct implementation of sound asset management practices. Administer asset management services.

Knowledge of the Public Service Act, PFMA, Treasury regulations and other frameworks.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, prescripts, policies and procedures, Basic knowledge of financial Management, and Record management of documents. Computer literacy certificate/computer as a subject.
DUTIES: Provide a secretarial/ receptionist support service to the manager. Provide a clerical support service to the manager. Remains up to date regarding prescripts/ policies and procedures applicable to her/his work terrain to ensure efficient and effective support to the manager.
