Sernick Feed Factory in Edenville, Free State, is looking for a Code 14 Driver to join its team.
The position reports directly to the Operational Manager and Logistics Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Code 14 driver’s licence and PDP
Grade 12
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Hands-on mechanical knowledge to identify and report issues
Able to drive long hours and travel regularly
Extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
No recent driving violations and sober habits
Adaptable and able to handle unexpected situations such as traffic and weather conditions
Hard-working and responsible
Must be willing to relocate to Edenville, Free State
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent professional work standard
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Take responsibility for daily tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Transporting goods to customers and retailers in different areas
Transporting workers to and from work
Inspecting trucks for mechanical defects and safety issues
Ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out
Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
Maintaining the cleanliness and housekeeping of trucks
Reporting issues or hazards immediately to the supervisor
The scope of the position may be adapted according to the needs of the Group.
SALARY & BENEFITS
