External/Internal applications for Mysol Staff and external applicants are invited for the position of:

SURVEYOR (X1)

The position is based at our Opencast Mine, reporting to Site Manager according to Occupational Structure.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION WILL BE TO:

To quantify the stock volumes at all Mysol Holdings and Logistics Business units
Identify and assess level of issue-based risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
Manage SHEQ compliance within the Process through effective use of the Toolbox
Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
Ensure Clients Satisfaction
Assisting Business Unit’s Engineers with topographic and detail surveys for project planning.
Assist with preparation of comprehensive and accurate survey reports
Review and evaluate design concept / value engineering
Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
