Job Overview
Eskom is currently recruiting Utilityman Site (Shutter Hand) positions for the Normandie Substation in Mpumalanga.
This role involves manual and semi-skilled construction work, including heavy labour activities such as lifting, carrying, moving materials, and assisting with shuttering and formwork operations in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Perform housekeeping duties for tools and equipment
-
Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
-
Assess and inspect shuttering and formwork materials
-
Assess reinforcing layouts before installation
-
Erect shuttering and formwork structures
-
Install required consumables and materials
-
Compile and participate in HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment)

Strict adherence to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards

Comply with Eskom’s safety rules and organisational policies

Experience
